Army Institute of Fashion & Design (AIFD), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admission to UG and PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible for UG and PG programs to be offered for 2012.
- Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Apparel Design
- Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Design
- Post Graduate Diploma in Apparel Merchandising & Logistics Management.
Eligibility Conditions
- UG Course: The applicant must be a 10+2/equivalent examination in any combination with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
- PG Course: Any graduate recognized by Indian universities or equivalent.
How to Apply
- Candidates are required to fill in the form given at the end of the prospectus. The prospectus can be obtained by the candidates from the office of AIFD Bangalore, ITI B Area, Dooravani Nagar, Old Madras Road, Bangalore -560016 through requisition along with a crossed demand draft for Rs 550/- (which includes Rs.50/- as postal charges) in favor of Army Institute of Fashion & Design payable at Bangalore. Money order/cheque/postal order will not be accepted.
- Prospectus is also available on cash payment of Rs 500/- at the Institute, Army Headquarters (AWES) and all the Command Headquarters (AWES).
- Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before filling in their application form. Application forms duly completed in all respects along with relevant certificates documents should reach the principal. Army Institute of Fashion & Design, Bangalore, ITI B Area, Dooravani Nagar, Old Madras Road, Bangalore -560016 latest by 15 Mar 2012 for UG and 30th April, 2012 for PG. A late fee of Rs.100/- by 25 Mar 2012 for UG and 15 May 2012 for PG Courses.
Note: Students downloading the forms from website will have to attach a draft of Rs 550/- (which includes Rs.50/- as postal charges) along with the application form.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on the entrance exam conducted by the Army Institute of Fashion and Design (AIFD), Bangalore.

- Last date for receipt of application form for PG Courses: Monday, 30th April, 2012.
- Last date for receipt of application form (With late fee of Rs.100/-) for UG Course: Sunday, 25th March , 2012.
- Last date for receipt of application form (With late fee of Rs.100/-) for PG Course: Tuesday, 15th May, 2012
