NITTE University Invites Applications for Admission into UG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for under graduate admission into MBBS and BDS degrees in following constituent colleges of Nitte University

• K S Hegde Medical Academy
• A.B Shetty Institute of Dental Sciences at Deralakatte 

Eligibility Conditions

• A candidate who has passed the second year Pre – University or 12^th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. However in case of SC/ST candidates it is 40%
• Candidates whose 10+2 Results are not yet announced may also apply. However they shall submit the attested copies of the marks card before 20.6.2012 so that they can be considered for counseling if they have scored more than the minimum specified in the qualifying examinations.
• Must be 17 or more years of age as on 31^st Dec, 2012. 

How to Apply

• The candidates are required to pay the registration fee of Rs.1000/- through demand draft in favor of NITTE University, payable at Mangalore.
• The filled-in application with all relevant documents should be sent to The Registrar, Nitte University, Deralakatte, Mangalore (D.K) – 575 018 by post so as to reach before the last date (25-04-2012) or may be handed over in person at the university office on any working day before the last date.
• Selection Procedure
• Selection will be based on the NUUGET 2012 entrance exam which will be conducted by the university.

Last date for the receipt of application fees: Wednesday,  24^th April, 2012.
Date of entrance test: Monday,  7^th May, 2012
