Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University (JSSU) Mysore Invites Applications for Admission into MBBS Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program offered at JSS Medical College, Mysore 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidate should have passed  qualifying examination equivalent to PUC or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional and English as one of the main study language with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and should have also passed in English language.
• The candidates should also have secured not less than 50% , marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the JSSU UGET – 2012 Entrance Test.
• In case of SC/ST/Category01 and OBC category candidates they should have secured minimum 40% marks in both qualifying examination and entrance test. 

How to Apply

• Prospectus and application form for entrance examination can be downloaded from JSS University’s website: www.jssuni.edu.in. The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs 2000/- only by way of DD favoring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore payable at Mysore along with the documents listed in the official website.
• Application forms can also be obtained by sending a application fee of Rs 200/- only by way of DD favoring of JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore.
• Duly filled in application form should be sent to the university along with documents listed in the official website of the university enclosing DD for Rs 2000/- favoring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore payable at Mysore. 

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be strictly made on the merit based on marks secured in JSSU-UGET 2012 and counseling by JSS University Mysore.

• Date of receipt of duly filled in application form for registration by the university by post: Monday,  7^th May, 2012.
• Last date for receipt of duly filled in application form for registration by the university in person: Monday,  7^th May, 2012.
• Date of Entrance Test: Saturday,  26^th May, 2012.
