National Brain Research Centre( NBRC), Gurgaon Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D and Integrated Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Integrated PhD program in Neuroscience for 2012-14.
Eligibility Conditions
For PhD
- Master's degree or equivalent in any branch of science such as Life Science / Physics/ Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer application / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science/ Psychology or A minimum of four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering / Technology / Medicine.
For Integrated PhD
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any branch of science such as Life Science / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science / Psychology / Engineering / Technology / Medicine.
How to Apply
- Interested candidates can apply online by filling up the application form made available on NBCR’s website: http://specialtest.in/nbrc2012/.
- Take the print out of online application form and please affix a self-attested passport size photograph at the appropriate place and send it to "Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode, NH-8, Manesar – 122 050 " so as to reach on or before April 13, 2012 along with the Demand Draft of any nationalized bank for the requisite amount (Rs 700/- or Rs 350/- as applicable) drawn in favor of Director, NBRC.
- Registration process will be completed only on receipt of print version of online application form along with demand draft and self attested copies of the certificates/testimonials in respect of proof of age, qualification, category etc.
Selection Procedure
Shortlisted candidates after the written test will be called for a two-tier interview at NBRC. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.

- Last date of availability of online application form: Monday, 9th April, 2012
- Last Date of receipt of the Filled Forms along with registration slip and copies of self attested testimonials: Friday, 13th April, 2012
- Written Entrance Examination for Integrated Ph.D (Neuroscience): Sunday, 13th May, 2012 from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon
- Written Entrance Examination for Ph.D (Neuroscience): Sunday, 13th May, 2012 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
