Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) Invites Application for Admission into Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following program for 2012-13.

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences
• Ph.D. in Biotechnology
• Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences
• Ph.D. in Agriculture
• Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences 

Eligibility Conditions

• Post graduation in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences and medicine graduates.
• Applicants must have a consistently first class academic track record (no less than 60% aggregates) and a valid research fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR and DBT or eligibility to apply for inspire. Candidates with other fellowships are advised to contact the Dean to confirm eligibility.
• Candidates awaiting final exam Results can also apply. However only those candidates with a valid pass certificate will be allowed to appear for the selection interview. 

How to Apply

• Completed applications must reach RGCB on or before the above last date which is  16^th April, 2012 for all general applicants with fellowship.
• Internal candidates may collect the application forms from the dean's office. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of personal interview and faculty interaction.
