Sri Siddhartha University (SSU), Tumkur Invites Applications for Admission into UG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various under graduate program offered at the constituent colleges of the university viz,

• Sri Siddhartha Medical College
• Sri Siddhartha Dental College
• Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology

UG programs offered are

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) 

Eligibility Conditions

• For MBBS  / BDS :  The candidate should have passed in the  second year Pre-University or 12th standard or HSC or Equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology in respect of Medical and Dental courses as optional subjects and English as one of the language with minimum 50% (For General candidates) and 40% (For Reserved category candidates) of the aggregate marks or equivalent grade in the optional subjects
• For BE  : The candidate shall passed PUC or 10+2 or HSC or Equivalent examination  with Physics , Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects : - Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology with minimum 50% (For general candidates) and 45% (For Reserved category candidates) of marks taken together in the optional subjects with English as one of the language. He/She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year for Admission to MBBS/BDS Course. 

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their SSU-AIUGET entrance test score conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

• Issue of Online and Offline application form: Monday,  2^nd April, 2012
• Last date of submitting online application form: Monday,  30^th April, 2012
• Last date for receiving hand filled application forms by post / in person with all the necessary documents: Monday,  7^th May, 2012
• Dispatch of test admission tickets to provisionally eligible candidates: Monday,  14^th May, 2012
• Date of SSU AIUGET 2012: Sunday,  27^th May, 2012.
