Mizoram University Invites Applications for Admission into B.Tech Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bacheor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Lateral Entry program for following specializations:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Information Technology
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
Eligibility Conditions
For B.Tech
- A candidate who has passed the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized board having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) shall be eligible for admission in B.Tech.
- Those appearing in the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2012 may also apply.
- Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st Oct, 1987 are eligible.
For B.Tech LE:
- 3 year diploma holder in engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks may apply for lateral entry. Those appearing in the final examination in 2012 may also eligible to apply.
How to Apply
- Prescribed application forms will be available in the office of the Controller of Examination, Mizoram University during office hours on payment of Rs.700 for general category candidates and Rs.350 for SC/ST Candidate in cash or through Demand draft in favor of Controller of Examination, Mizoram University.
- Application forms can be obtained through post by remitting Rs.50 extra as postal charges from Controller Office. Form downloaded from university website should be submitted with required fees.

Selection Procedure
- Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in MZUEEE 2012 conducted by the university.
