University of Kerala Invites Applications for Admission into M.Ed Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the Master of Education (M. Ed) (Non CSS) degree course in the training colleges affiliated to the Kerala University for year 2012 – 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates who seek admission to the M.Ed degree (Non-CSS) course must have passed the B.Ed degree examination of the University of Kerala or its equivalent degree from other universities recognized by the University of Kerala with a minimum of 50% marks.
  
  
• Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates and 2% for SEBC candidates will be allowed.

• Application for and prospectus may be downloaded from the website www.keralauniversity.ac.in
  
  
• A Registration fee of Rs.500 + Rs.20 application fee (For General candidates) and Registration fee of Rs.250 + Rs.20 application fee (for SC/ST students) remitted through pay-in-slip at the university cash counter or through DD should be sent along with the completed application form.
• Separate pay-in-slip or DD for registration fee and application fee are to be enclosed. The DD should be drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala, issued by the S.B.T. Branches payable at S.B.T. Service Branch, Thiruvananthapuram or issued by District Co-operative Banks payable at State Co-operative Bank.  Head Office Branch, Thiruvananthapuram.
  
  
• Candidates residing outside the state may submit S.B.I. Drafts payable at S.B.I. Main Branch, Thiruvananthapuram.  Name, Address and purpose of remittance should be noted on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.  Those furnishing DDs must pay an additional service charge of Rs.10 for each DD.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of Candidates will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and performance in the Entrance Test conducted by the Kerala University.
