Allahabad University Invites Applications for Admission into LLB Three Year Course 2012-13

Application are invited from eligible candidates for  admission into LLB first year in the Law Department, Allahabad University or constituent colleges through Law Admission Test (LAT 2012). 

• LLB (Three year Course) 

Eligibility Conditions

• Only such a candidate shall be eligible for admission to LLB Course who has passed any of the following qualifying examinations either from Allahabad University or any other University recognized by Allahabad University and has secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination:
• BA/ BCom/ BSc (Hons.) Examination
               OR
  BA/ BCom/ BSc three year degree Course examination in 10+2+3 system
               OR
  BA/ BCom/ BSc examination according to 10+2+2 or +3 Rule on or before 1987
               OR
  B.A / B.Com/ B.Sc examination in the year 1988 or following years according to 10+2+2 or 11+3 system and have passed Bridge Course examination or the post-graduation examination
                OR
  BSc (Ag.)/ BE/ BTech/ MBBS examinations 

Required Age:(as on 1^st Jul, 2012): Maximum 30 years (General category) 

Selection Procedure

The Law Admission Test shall be of 3 hours duration which includes half an hour for verification of the instruction to the candidates. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can either apply online on the site http://www.auadmission.co.in or obtain OMR Forms along with information brochure will also be available for purchase from Pravesh Bhawan, Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad-21102 U.P. on all days including holidays between 10 am to 4 pm. 

• Candidates can deposit fee through DRAFT made in favour of ‘Finance Officer, University of Allahabad', payable at Allahabad or download the CHALLAN of HDFC BANK from the website and fill it up correctly by mentioning all the details required. The bank account number LAT-2012 has to be clearly mentioned along with the applicable fee.
  
  
• The student is required to send the original university copy of CHALLAN/DRAFT to Director Admissions, Pravesh Bhawan, Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad and bring the photocopy along with its Admit Card to the Test Centre and submit it at the time of Test. 

Application Fee: Application fee for General/ OBC category candidates is Rs.600 and fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates is Rs.300.

• Opening date for online submission of application: 15^th Apr, 2012
• Opening date for offline submission of application: 27^th Apr, 2012
• Closing date for online/ offline submission of application: 10^th May, 2012
• Date for editing online application: 13^th May, 2012
• Date of Enabling Online Admit Cards: 15^th May, 2012
• Date for LAT 2012: 1^st Jun, 2012 (8.30 am to 11 am)
