University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into B.Sc and M.Sc Medical Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Science and Master of Science program in Medical for 2012- 2013.

• B.Sc. (Medical Technology) Radiography
• M.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (Radiography) 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc. (Medical Technology) Radiography

• An Applicant should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st Dec. of the year of admission. Candidates attaining 17 years of age on 1^st Jan. of the subsequent year or later will not be eligible to appear at the competitive Entrance Examination.
  
  
• The candidates must have appeared/passed XII class examination under 10+2 system conducted by the CBSE/ICSE/ Jamia  Milia Islamia New Delhi from a recognized school conducted  regular classes of 11^th  and 12^th  standard situated within  the National Capital Territory of Delhi only, will be eligible for admission with minimum of 50%  marks (40% in case of SC/ST  category candidates and 45% marks in case of OBC category) in aggregate in these subjects.
  
  

For M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology (Radiography)

• The course is open to all candidates who have done Bachelor Degree in Science (three year), Medical Technology (Radiography) (3 years) and medicine from a recognized University/recognized by MCI respectively. One seal will be reserve for in service candidate having B.Sc Radiography. However, they will have in completed the same written test.  In case of service candidate is not available the seat will be open. 

How to Apply

• The prospectus containing application form can be obtained in person from the reception counter  of  University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi-110095, on  receipt of cash /bank draft/pay order drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of ‘The  Principal, University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS)’ (non-refundable) payable at Delhi.
  
  
• The application fee for B.Sc program is Rs.500 and for M.Sc program is Rs.750.
  
  
• The Application Form may also be downloaded from the College website: www.ucms.ac.in and the same may be sent to the Principal University College of Medical Sciences, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095 duly filled in along with requisite Demand Draft/Pay Order amounting of required fee drawn in favor of the Principal, University College of Medical Sciences payable at Delhi on or before the last date, i.e., 3^rd May, 2012. 

• Every candidate must fill the application form in his/her own handwriting and enclose a self addressed stamped envelope worth Rs.25 (for sending the admit card by registered/speed post)  and send it in an envelope  superscribed  “B.Sc. (MT) Radiography entrance  examination”  to  the Section Officer, Academic Section, University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095. 

• The last date for receiving application form:  3^rd May, 2012 (Thursday) 

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates is done through an entrance examination which shall be conducted by the University of Delhi on 16^th June, 2012 at UCMS and GTB Hospital, Delhi-110095.

• Date of entrance exam: 16^th June, 2012 (Saturday)
