Dr. D.Y.Patil University Invites Applications for Admission into Medical Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various health science courses conducted in constituent colleges of Dr. D.Y.Patil University, situated in its campus at Nerul, Navi Mumbai for 2012. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must be Indian national. The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate I additional District Magistrate I Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport shall constitute proof of nationality.
  
  
• The candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31^st Dec, 2012 (i.e. the candidate should not have been born after 31^st Dec, 1995)
  
  
• Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS/BDS. The backward class candidates must attach copy of the caste certificate and caste verification certificates along with the application.
  
  
• Candidates who have appeared for H.S.C or equivalent examination and whose Results will be declared before the dates of counseling will also be eligible to appear at AIET 2012.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of the candidates will be based on All India Entrance Test (AIET 2012) entrance exam conducted by Dr. D.Y. Patil University. 

Important Dates

• The last date for on-line registration application forms: 3^rd May, 2012 (Thursday) up to 5.00 PM IST.
• Registration of application with late fee of Rs.500/-: 10^th May, 2012 (Thursday)up to 5.00 PM IST.
• AIET entrance exam will be conducted on: 16^th May, 2012 (Wednesday)
