The University of Burdwan Invites Applications for Admission into MBA Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 2 year full time Master of Business Administration program approved by UGC and AICTE for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Graduates in Arts, Commerce, Science and in any other branch of Social science in the 10+2+3 mode.                                                                    
                                             OR
  Graduates in Engineering, Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy and Agriculture. 

How to Apply

• Application forms may be obtained in person or anybody on his/her behalf from the University sales counter at Rajbati, B. U. on payment of Rs.150 in cash and on production of the relevant degree marksheet (original or attested Xerox copy thereof) between 11. a.m. and 2 p.m. on all University week days from 24^th Apr, 2012.
  
  
• Request of outstation candidates for sending forms by post must reach the Secretary, Faculty Council (Arts, etc.), The University of Burdwan, Rajbati, Burdwan-713104 within 22^nd May, 2012.

• Candidates obtaining the form from the University website are compulsorily required to submit a Demand Draft for Rs.150 favoring "Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan" payable at SBI, Burdwan.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates are selected on the basis of scores in written test that includes MAT/CAT/GMAT/XAT conducted by the respective agencies and group discussion & viva-voce conducted by the Department (short listed candidates on the basis of the written test score are called for Group Discussion and Viva-Voce). Final selection is made on the basis of total marks obtained in Group Discussion, Viva-Voce and Written test scores taken together.
