National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissioin into M.Sc programs in Mathematics, Chemistry and M.Sc. (Tech.)-Engineering Physics in various specializations for 2012-13.

How to Apply

• Candidates should apply for NITWET-2012 through ‘Online’ only.
  
  
• Application fee is Rs.600 (Rs.300 in case of SC/ST candidates) for each department.
  
  
• Separate applications need not be submitted for admission to different departments. Only one application is sufficient for any number of departments/specializations of the programs. Based on the number of departments chosen by the candidate, application fee will be computed accordingly. For example, if candidate is applying for only one department, fee is Rs.600 (Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates). Similarly, in case of applying to two departments, fee is Rs.1200 (Rs.600 for SC/ST candidates) and so on.

• Applications are to be submitted along with photocopies of necessary certificates and with demand draft worth necessary fee. Demand draft must be drawn in favor of Director NIT Warangal payable at S.B.H, NIT Warangal Branch (Code No. 20149) or SBI, Battala Bazar Branch, Warangal (Code No. 7456), Andhra Bank, Fatima Nagar Branch, Kazipet (Code No.000094).
  
  
• Name and address of the candidate should be written on the reverse of the demand draft. 

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidate shall be made on National Institute of Technology Warangal Entrance Test (NITWET).

• Last date for online submission of application: 25^th May, 2012 (Friday)
• NITWET entrance exam:
  • For Mathematics and Physics: 15^th June, 2012 (Friday)
  • For Chemistry: 16^th June, 2012 (Saturday)
