National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela Invites Applications for Admission into M. Tech Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into M. Tech. programs (Sponsored and Self Financed) in various disciplines for 2012 – 13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates should have B.E/ B.Tech/ M. Sc. or equivalent degree with not less than 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the qualifying examination.
  
  
• The candidates appearing B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc. (final semester) examination may also apply for the above programs. However, they have to produce their mark/grade sheet showing 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 in aggregate latest by 30^th Sep, 2012, failing which their admission will stand cancelled. 

How to Apply

• The online application is available on the official website – www.application.nitrkl.ac.in
  
  
• The application form must be submitted online by 30^th May, 2012.
  
  
• The print out of the online application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.500 should reach the university office by  4^th June, 2012. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on the marks secured in qualifying degree and a written and /or oral examination to be conducted by the concerned department.

• Last date to submit the application online: 30^th May, 2012 (Wednesday)
• Last date for receipt of print out of online application form:  4^th June, 2012 (Monday)
