XLRI School of Business & Human Resources, Jamshedpur Invites Application for Admission into PGP-CEM Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time "Post Graduate Program for Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management" (PGP-CEM) offered at Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) for 2012.
Eligibility Conditions
- To be eligible to apply for admission into the program, the candidates should be at least graduates from any recognized university. Candidate must have interest in entrepreneurship-social or commercial- even though currently not functioning as entrepreneurs possess basic computer literacy.
How to Apply
- To get admission into PGP-CEM, candidates are required to submit the application first online and then through hard copy along with a recently taken passport-size photograph pasted on the completed application form and a demand draft for Rs.500 only drawn in favor of “XLRI, Jamshedpur” payable at Jamshedpur.
- To register for online application, the candidates are to visit the website www.xlri.ac.in/edc and click on “Apply for Registration”. On completion of online registration, a login ID (called CEM ID) will be generated. This ID along with the password needs to be preserved by the candidates carefully.
- The last date for online registration will be 30th May, 2012. The completed application form along with a recently taken passport-size photograph and a demand draft for Rs.500 only should reach following address EDC Office, XLRI-Jamshedpur, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001within 7th June, 2012.
- Name of the candidate and login ID (CEM ID) are required to be mentioned on the reverse of the demand draft. The envelope in which the hard copy of the completed application form is sent to EDC Office of XLRI should be superscribed with “Application for admission: PGP-CEM 2012.” Proof of educational qualifications, work experience and caste affiliation etc. are not required to be enclosed with the application. These will be verified at the time of interview/group discussions and the final admission.
Selection Procedure
- The selection of the candidates will be based on group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).

- Last date for online registration: 30th May, 2012 (Wednesday)
- Last date for receipt of filled-in application form (hard copy) at EDC Office, XLRI Jamshedpur: 7th June, 2012 (Thursday)
