Assam University, Silichar Invites Applications for Admission into UG and PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into its under graduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) programs in various disciplines at the Silchar and the Diphu campuses for 2012-13. 

How to Apply

• The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from the Assam University cash counter at the cost of Rs.600 for general/OBC candidates and Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates.
  
  
• The application form and the prospectus can also be downloaded from the official website - www.aus.ac.in.
  
  
• The payment for online application form should be made through DD/Banker Cheque in favor of ‘Finance Officer, Assam University Silchar’ payable at Silchar.
  
  
• The candidates can submit their filled in applications at the drop box placed at the Raja Rammohan Roy Administrative Building, Room No. – 4, Assam University, Silchar and at the Administrative Office of Diphu by 15^th Jun, 2012 at the latest.
  
  
• The candidates may also submit their filled in application forms by post to ‘Registrar, Assam University, Silchar 788011’ by 15^th Jun, 2012 at the latest.
  
  
• Candidates applying for the courses available at the Diphu campus should submit their filled in application form at the Diphu campus office only. 

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance test conducted by Assam University.

• Last date for submitting filled in application form: 15^th Jun, 2012 (Friday)
• Date of publication of list of eligible candidates for written test: 5^th Jul, 2012 (Thursday)
• Date of written test: 8^th Jul, 2012 (Sunday)
• Date of personal interview: 9^th Jul, 2012 (Monday)
• Date of publication of list of selected candidates: 3^th Jul, 2012 (Friday)
