Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar Invites Applications for Admission into B.Tech Programs

Applications are invited by Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar for admission to Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech) program in various disciplines for the commencing session 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates should have appeared for the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE.
  
  
• The general candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks, and the SC/ST/SEBC candidates should have a minimum of 45% marks in the higher secondary examination (10+2) or its equivalent in science subjects – Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. 

How to Apply

• The candidates can obtain the application form from selected branches of Oriental Bank as given on the university website at the cost of Rs.1200.
  
  
• The filled in offline application form should be sent to ‘The Convener, Admission Committee (B. Tech.), Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Raisan, Gandhinagar–382007’ through post or DTDC courier.
  
  
• The application form can also be submitted online available on the official website of the university - www.pdpu.ac.in.
  
  
• Payment for the online application should be made through credit card/debit card/internet banking.
  
  
• The duly filled in application form should be submitted by 9^th Jun, 2012 at the latest. 

Selection Procedure

• The candidates will be shortlisted based on their AIEEE 2012 All India Rank.
  
  
• 50% seats are reserved for the students from Gujarat based on their AIEEE 2012 All India Rank.

• Last date for submitting filled in application form: 9^th Jun, 2012 (Saturday)
• Date of declaration of selected candidates: 20^th Jun, 2012 (Wednesdy)
