Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh Invites Applications for Admission into PG Diploma Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into postgraduate diploma (PGD) course in Tea Technology and Plantation Management for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates should have a Bachelor degree in any stream including Agriculture, Engineering/Technology, Business Administration and Computer Application from any recognized University securing at least 40% in Major or 45%marks in aggregate.
  
  
• A 5% relaxation of marks is allowed for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  
  
• The candidates who are appearing in the final year of their respective qualifying examinations in April/May 2012 are also eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• The application forms along with the prospectus can be obtained from the ‘Centre for Tea and Agro Studies, Dibrugarh University’ on payment of Rs.300 in cash or through Demand draft (DD) in favor of the ‘Registrar, Dibrugarh University’ drawn at the State Bank of India, Dibrugarh university branch.
  
  
• The application form along with the prospectus can also be obtained by post by sending a request letter along with a DD of Rs.300 and a self- addressed stamped - Rs.30 envelope to the ‘Director, i/c, Centre for Tea and Agro Studies, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh 786004’.
  
  
• The application form can also be downloaded from the official website - www.dibru.ac.in
  
  
• The duly filled in application forms should be submitted to the Director i/c, Centre for Tea and Agro Studies, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh-786004 by 26^th Jul, 2012 at the latest. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on merit and an entrance test followed by an interview and group discussion.

• Date of entrance test: 29^th Jul, 2012 (Sunday)
