Tripura University Agartala Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs in various disciplines for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The general candidates must have a master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned subject or allied subject from any recognized university or institute of national importance.
  
  
• 5% relaxation of marks is allowed for SC/ST candidates.
  
  
• The candidates who are appearing for their final master’s degree exam are also eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• The application form can be obtained from the Ph.D section, Tripura University at the cost of Rs.100 payable through the university bank challan.
  
  
• The application form can also be downloaded from the official website - http://www.tripurauniv.in.
  
  
• The payment for the downloaded application form can be made through a demand draft of Rs.100 drawn in favor of Registrar, Tripura University’ payable at SBI, Tripura University Campus Branch, Suryamaninagar – 799022.
  
  
• The duly filled in application form should be submitted to Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tripura University by  22^nd Jun, 2012. 

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the Research Eligibility Test (RET) conducted by Tripura University.

• Date for Research Eligibility Test (RET): 12^th Jul, 2012 (Thursday)
