Anna University Centre for Distance Education (CDE), Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into Distance PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into distance education programs offered for 2012-13.

• Master of Computer Application (MCA)
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Information Technology (IT) 

Eligibility Conditions 

For MCA

• A pass in any bachelor degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer oriented subject as one of the subjects in the degree/+2 level.
• A pass in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by Anna University
• Degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 or 4 patterns. 

For M.Sc (IT)

• A pass in B.Sc Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Software Engineering /Electronics (or) B.Sc (Physics/Statistics/Chemistry) (or) B.E.S with Mathematics or Computer Science as allied Subject (or) B.Sc. Applied Sciences (Computer Technology/ Information Technology/Computer Systems Maintenance and Networking) (or) BCA (or) B.E/B.Tech (any branch).
  
  
• Degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 or 4 patterns.

How to Apply

• Printed application form can be obtained in person from the Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai - 600025. The cost of application form is Rs.650 payable in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of the THE DIRECTOR, CENTRE FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION, ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI - 600025 and payable at Chennai.
  
  
• Those who want to get the application form by post should send requisition letter along with demand draft payable at Chennai Rs.700 before 2^nd Jul, 2012
  
  
• Application form can also be obtained in person from the following study centres located outside Chennai on payment of Rs.650 in cash. Madurai: KLN College of Engineering Ph: 0452 - 2090971/2090972, Trichy: Jamal Mohammed College Ph: 0431 - 2331015/2331935 and Vellore: Chinnu’s Pentech Computer Solution Ph: 9244907666/9364207666.
  
  
• Application form can also be downloaded from the website of the centre. In such cases the candidates should enclose a demand draft for Rs.650 along with the completed application.
  
  
• Completed applications should be sent to The Director, Centre For Distance Education Anna University, Chennai - 600025 Candidates who are submitting completed applications in person can obtain their hall ticket immediately.
