Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management, Chandigarh Invites Applications for Admission into Diploma curses 2012-13.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following Trade Diploma Courses of one and a half year duration for 2012-13.

• Food Production                          
• Bakery & Confectionery        
• Front Office Operations         
• Food & Beverage Service        
• House Keeping Operations      

Eligibility Conditions

• The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 with English (pass).
  
  
• Prospectus containing application form and other details are available on payment of Rs.250  at  the  Institute counter and through book post by  sending Bank  Draft of   Rs.300  in  the  name of Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management payable at Chandigarh stating complete postal address in capital letters on the back of the draft.
  
  
• Application Forms can also be downloaded from the Institute website www:cihmct.com. Candidate must attach a Demand Draft of Rs.250 alongwith the downloaded application, failing which their candidature will not be considered. 

Selection Procedure

• The admission will be on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination.  The merit list will be displayed  on the basis of 10+2 marks on the Institute Notice Board on  5^th Jul, 2012

Important Dates

The counselling of the candidates for allotment of seats  on basis of merit list will be held as per the following schedule:-

• 9^th Jul, 2012 – All candidates of SC/ST/PH.                -9.30 am onwards
• 10^th Jul, 2012 – 1 to  100 rank (General Category)        -9.30 am onwards
• 11^th Jul, 2012 – 101 rank onwards (General Category)  -9.30 am onwards

• In case of selection, fee will have to be deposited on the spot, failing which seats will be given to the candidates next on the merit list.  The second counselling to fill up the vacant seats, if any, will be held on 25^th Jul, 2012.
