University of Rajasthan Invites Applications for Admission into BCA Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program for 2012-13.
Eligibility Conditions
- Exempted from BCA Entrance Test: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination with Physics/Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Multimedia & Web Technology as one of the optional subjects with 50% or more (36% marks for SC/ST/OBC/SOBC category) in aggregate without any approximations is eligible to seek admission to BCA course.
- Irrespective of the stream (Arts/Science/Commerce), a candidate who has passed 10+2 level examination without taking Physics/Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science /Information Technology /Informatics Practices /Multimedia & Web Technology as one of the optional subjects with 50% or more (36% marks SC/ST/OBC/SOBC category) in aggregate without any approximation is eligible to seek admission to BCA course, subject to the condition that he/she has qualified the BCA Eligibility Test (BCAET-2012).
How to Apply
- Application form for eligibility test will be available only on university website http:/www.uniraj.ac.in/entrancetest and is not available through post or courier.
- A bank draft of Rs.1000 drawn in favor of Convener, BCA ET - 2012, Department of Mathematics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur payable at Jaipur must be accompanied with filled application form and admit card. The examination fee Rs.1000 is non-refundable in any case. Application form without examination fee will not be entertained.
- The last date for online submission of application form is 18th Jun, 2012 (Monday). Hard copy of duly filled application form and admit card, DD and all documents will be accepted by hand or by registered/speed post and must reach the Convener, BCA ET- 2012, Department of Mathematics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on or before Saturday 23rd Jun, 2012 by 4.30 PM. Applications received after this date and time shall be summarily rejected.
- Convener, BCA ET-2012 Department of Mathematics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur will not be responsible for postal delays in communication in any respect regarding BCA Eligibility Test-2012.
Selection Procedure
- The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of BCA Eligibility Test (BCAET 2012) conducted by the university.
Important Dates
- Last date for online submission of application form: 18th Jun, 2012 (Monday)
- Last date for submission of hard copy of application form: 23rd Jun, 2012(Saturday) upto 4.30 pm.
- Date and time of examination: 30th Jun, 2012 (Saturday) from 09.00 am to 11.00 am.
