Mangalore University Mangalagangotri Invites Applications for Admission into PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into postgraduate (PG) programs in various disciplines for 2012-13.

• Master of Arts (M.A)
• Master of Science (M.Sc)
• Master of Social Work (M.S.W)
• Master of Commerce (M.Com)
• Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) 

Note

• Candidates who wish to apply for more than one program should purchase separate application forms. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in their respective stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. 

How to Apply

• The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from The Registrar, Mangalore University, New Administrative Building, Mangalagangothri-574199 or Principal, University College, Mangalore- 575001 or Principal, F.M.K.M.C. College, Madikeri- 571201 at the cost of Rs.300 for general candidates and Rs.150 for SC/ST/cat-1 candidates.
  
  
• The application form can also be obtained by post by sending a demand draft of Rs.350 for general candidates and Rs.200 for SC/ST/cat-1 candidates drawn in favor of  Finance Officer, Mangalore University along with a requisition letter to The Registrar, Mangalore University, New Administrative Building, Mangalagangothri-574199 or Principal, University College, Mangalore- 575001 or Principal, F.M.K.M.C. College, Madikeri- 571201.
  
  
• The duly filled in application forms should be submitted at the respective departments of the university or the affiliated colleges as applicable by  23^rd Jun, 2012 at the latest. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test conducted by the university.

• Last date for submitting duly filled in application forms:  23^rd Jun, 2012 (Saturday)
• Date of entrance test:  2^nd July, 2012 (Monday) to  11^th Jul, 2012 (Wednesday)
