Applications are invited by University of Kashmir, Srinagar for admission to Master of Finance and Control (MFC) program for the commencing session 2012-13.
Eligibility
Candidates having obtained any one of the following recognized degrees with at least 50% marks for open merit and 45% marks for reserved categories are eligible for the MFC program
Bachelor degree in Commerce/Management/Arts/Science under 10+2+3 scheme or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Engineering/Law (Professional)/Medicine/ Technology.
Passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or Cost & Works Accountants or Company Secretaries of India.
Obtained any other qualification which is recognized by the University of Kashmir as equivalent to the above qualifications.
How to Apply
The application form along with the prospectus is available at the office of Department of Business and Financial studies, University of Kashmir at cost of Rs.250.

The print out of the application form submitted online along with the requisite documents should be submitted to the ‘office of the Director, Head, Department of Business and Financial Studies for MFC program’ University Campus Hazratbal, Srinagar by 20th Jun, 2012.
Payment for the online application form of Rs.300 (plus Rs.10 bank charge) should be done against the pay-in-slip generated with the application form in any of the branches of the J&K Bank Ltd. across the country.

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be selected based on the merit obtained in latest MAT/CAT score 2012 (composite score reduced to the base of 75%), group discussion (15%) and personal interview (10%).
Only those candidates will be called to appear in GD and PI, who will be shortlisted for the same on the basis of merit obtained in the MAT/CAT score.
