Anna University, Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into Engineering Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions 

• For B.E/B.Tech Programs:The candidates should have completed their higher secondary education with a minimum 50% average marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for general candidates and 45% average marks for SC/ST candidates.
  
  
• For B.Arch Program:The candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for general candidates and 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates. 

Note: The candidate should be a citizen of India but not a native of Tamil Nadu. 

How to Apply

• The application form should be filled online on their official website - www.annauniv.edu/otherstate2012.
  
  
• After submitting the application form online, the print out of the application along with the registration fee of  Rs.1000/500 in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of  The Director, Admissions, Anna University payable at Chennai should be sent to  The Director (Admissions), Anna University, Chennai – 600025 by  28^th Jun, 2012. 

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination and also in the NATA 2012 conducted by the Council of Architecture.
