Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission Vidyavaridhi (Doctor of Philosophy) (Ph.D) course at following campuses for 2012-13.

• Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati
• Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi
• Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidate should have an Acharya/M.A (Sanskrit) or an equivalent degree from universities, duly recognized by University Grants Commission/deemed universities with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
  
  
• The SC/ST candidates should have minimum of 50% marks in M.A Sanskrit/Sanskrit related subjects. 

How to Apply

• The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained in person from any of the participating universities’ campuses at the cost of Rs.500.
  
  
• The application form can also be obtained by post by sending a demand draft of Rs.550 drawn in favor of  Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha payable at Tirupati to any of the participating universities.
  
  
• The application forms can also be downloaded from their official websites - www.rsvidyapeetha.ac.in or www.sanskrit.nic.in or www.slbsrsv.ac.in.
  
  
• The completed application form should be sent to the Coordinator, Combined Vidya Varidhi Entrance Test (CVVET), Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati - 517507, Andhra Pradesh by  13^th Jul, 2012 at the latest. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance exam CVVET 2012 conducted by the institute. 

Last date for submitting completed application form:  13^th Jul, 2012 (Friday)
Date of entrance test:  18^th Aug, 2012 (Sunday)
