University of Burdwan Invites Applications for Admission M.Tech Program

Applications are invited by University of Burdwan, Bardhaman for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Microwaves) program for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Condition

• The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Radio Physics and Electronics/Applied Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.

How to Apply

• The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from the sales counter of the university at the cost of Rs.150, payable by cash.

• The application form can also be downloaded from their official website - www.buruniv.ac.in.

• The completed downloaded application forms should be sent to “The Secretary, Faculty Council (Sc), The University of Burdwan, Rajbati, Burdwan 713104” on or before 6th Jul, 2012 along with a copy of the challan for payment of Rs.150 to the cash section of the university or a demand draft for Rs200 drawn in favor of the “Finance Officer, Burdwan University”, payable at “SBI, Burdwan University Branch, Burdwan” and a self-addressed stamped envelope for sending the provisional admit card.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on their GATE scores, marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the interview.
