Gauhati University, Gauhati Invites Applications for Bachelor of Science (B.S) Programs

Applications are invited by Gauhati University (GU), Gauhati for admission to Bachelor of Science (B.S) program for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Conditions

The candidate should have completed 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Biotechnology having at least pass marks in each subject with minimum 60% marks in 10+2 final exam.

How to Apply

1. The application form and the prospectus can be obtained from the Institute of Science and Technology-GU and GU Information Center, WUS Building, Ambari, Guwahati-1 at the cost of Rs.300
   
   
2. The application form can also be downloaded from their official website- http://www.gauhati.ac.in/
   
   
3. The application form can also be obtained by post by sending a requisition letter accompanied by a demand draft of Rs.300 drawn in favor of ‘IST, Gauhati University’ and payable at Guwahati and a self-addressed envelope of 25cm X 31cm size with postage stamp of Rs.25 to the university.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on the aggregate marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics in 10+2 exam.
