Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Invites Applications for Master of Technology (M.Tech) Program

Applications are invited by Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Sonepat for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) for the commencing session 2012-13.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in relevant branch of Engineering/Technology from any Indian university included in the approved list of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or any foreign university recognized by this university for purpose of admission to this course scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate.
How to Apply
- The university prospectus containing admission form along with other details will be available at reception/enquiry office (Administrative block) on payment of Rs.600(Rs.150 in case of SC candidates of Haryana).
- The same can be obtained by post upto 15th Jun, 2012 by sending demand draft of Rs.700(Rs.250 in case of SC candidates of Haryana) in favor of Registrar, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal (Sonepat) payable at SBI (Branch code:- 14374), Murthal (Sonepat).
- Candidates can download the application form from the official website: http://www.dcrustm.ac.in/
- Such candidates who download the admission form must attach a bank draft of Rs.600(Rs.150 in case of SC candidates of Haryana) in favor of Registrar of the university payable at SBI (Branch code: - 14374), Murthal (Sonepat).
- Application form complete in all respects must reach the Chairperson of the concerned department by 25th Jun, 2012 up to 5.00 P.M. Incomplete forms or those received after the last date shall not be entertained and shall be summarily rejected.
Selection Procedure
- Seats will first be filled by GATE-qualified candidates and the remaining vacant seats shall be offered to other non-GATE candidates.
- For GATE-qualified candidates, a merit list of the eligible candidates will be drawn on the basis of the valid GATE score.
- All non-GATE candidates will be admitted on merit list drawn on the basis of an objective type test of one hour duration in the discipline seeking admission to be held at university on the date of first counseling.
