Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, Puducherry University Invites Application for Admission into Nursing Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme in Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Puducherry for 2012-13.

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing
• Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc) in Nursing
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc in Nursing Program

• The candidate should have passed the higher secondary examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for general candidates and 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

For P.B.B.Sc in Nursing Program

• The candidate should have qualified in diploma in nursing course for duration of three and half years.

For M.Sc in Nursing Program

• The candidate should have completed B.Sc in Nursing/P.B.B.Sc in Nursing program with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for general candidates and 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply

• The application form can be obtained in person from the university at the cost of Rs.400 for B.Sc and P.B.B.Sc programs and Rs.600 for M.Sc program.

• The completed application form along with a demand draft of the prescribed fee (in case of downloaded form) should be sent to  Secretary, Selection Committee (SBVUNCET 2012), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College Campus, Puduvai – Cuddalore Main Road, Pillaiyarkuppam, Puducherry – 607402 by 23^rd Jul, 2012 at the latest.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test SBVUNCET 2012 which will be conducted by the university.

• Last date for submitting completed forms: 23^rd Jul, 2012 (Monday)
• Date of entrance test: 28^th Jul, 2012 (Saturday)
