Gauhati University (GU), Gauhati Invites Applications for Admission into LL.B Programs

Applications are invited by Gauhati University (GU), Guwahati for admission to three years Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and LL.B (Honors) programs offered at the University Law College for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility

• The candidate should have completed the bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum marks of 45% for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates.
• The general candidates should not be above 30 years of age and the SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates should not be above 35 years of age as on 1st Jun, 2012.

How to Apply

• The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained in person from Gauhati University Publication Department and Gauhati University Information Centre, Ambari, Guwahati-1 at the cost of Rs.300 payable by cash at the GU cash counter or by bank draft drawn in favor of 'Registrar, GU', payable at State Bank of India, GU branch.

• The application form can also be obtained by post by sending a self addressed envelope of 25cm x 31cm in size with postage stamp of Rs.50 along with a bank draft of Rs.300 only to the university.
