Delhi School of Communication (DSC), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into PGDPC Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into two-year Post Graduate Diploma Program in Communication (PGDPC) program offered in Advertising, Public Relations & Journalism and Marketing specializations for 2012.
Alongside the PGDPC, students are also awarded a Masters in Mass Communication (MMC) from Guru Jambheshwar University. The program is heavily integrated with industry where students are placed for internships (full day work experience) for more than 5 months and are placed for apprenticeships (half day work experience) between 3 to 6 months. The apprenticeships take place in any of the following fields: Media Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Market Research.
Eligibility Conditions
- Students those who have completed their graduation/those completing it in 2012, in any stream, may apply for the course. Work experience is preferred though not compulsory.
How to Apply
- The application forms may be downloaded and submitted online, or collected from their campus.
- The registration charges for the form are Rs.1100 Demand draft of Rs.1100 in favor of The Delhi School of Communication needs to be attached with the form.
- Candidates collecting the form from the DSC campus may also pay in cash or demand draft in favor of The Delhi School of Communication.
Selection Procedure
- Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA test or their Admission test, Psychological test, and the personality interview. The Admission Test covers GK, English, Maths (10th class), Reasoning and General Aptitude (duration 1½ hrs). The Psychological test is an objective-type paper. Both the tests are conducted online from this year.
