National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in various departments for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D Degree in Engineering/Technology

• M.E/M.Tech degree in Engineering/ Technology with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI.

For Ph.D Degree in Architecture (and allied areas i.e. Design, Planning, etc.)

• Master’s degree in Architecture/Design/Planning or its equivalent with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI. 

How to Apply

• The application forms and other relevant information may be downloaded from the institute website: www.nitrr.ac.in.  
  
  
• The filled applications along with a crossed DD towards application fee drawn in favor of  Director, NIT Raipur  payable at Raipur should reach to  The Registrar, NIT Raipur, CG 492010  on or before 16^th Jul, 2012 in an A4 size envelope with super scribing  Ph. D Admission for academic year 2012-13 in ____________ (Name of the Department) .
  
  
• Application Fee: Rs.200 for general and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST/PH candidate’s fee will be Rs.100 only.
  
  
• However, applicants from Computer Application department those who have applied in response to the previous advertisement No./NITRR/R-1/Advt./2011/1497 Raipur dated 18^th Jun, 2011 need not pay any fee. They have to mention details of payment made by them earlier.
