Pondicherry Engineering College Invites Applications for Admission into MCA Program

Applications are invited by Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Puducherry for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) program for the commencing session 2012-13.
Eligibility
The candidate should have completed the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications / Computer Science/Information Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce /Corporate Secretary-ship / Economics/ Business Administration with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications as one of the subjects (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
Candidates who have passed qualifying examinations and who are awaiting Results are also eligible.
How to Apply
Application forms and information brochure can be obtained from Office of PEC Credit Society, Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry- 605014, in person on payment of Rs.1030 (Rs.530 for SC/ST candidates).
Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a request to ‘The Convenor, CENTAC-PG,MCA&MBA Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry-605014’, along with two self-addressed slips (neatly typed or hand written) and a crossed demand draft for Rs.1065 (Rs.1000 towards the cost of application and Rs.65 for postage) (Rs.565 for SC/ST candidates. (Rs.500 towards the cost of application and Rs.65 for postage)], drawn in favor of ‘The Convenor, CENTAC-PG, MCA & MBA’ payable at Puducherry.

Filled-in application forms along with all necessary enclosures should be sent in the prescribed envelope to 'The Convenor, Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC-PG MCA & MBA), Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry - 605014 by 16th Jul, 2012. at the latest.
Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test – CENTAC MCA-CET 2012 which will be conducted by the Centralised Admission Committee.

Date of entrance exam 29th Jul, 2012.
