Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) Jaipur Invites Applications for Admission into Pharmacy Programs

Applications are invited by Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur for admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Diploma of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) programs offered at the pharmacy colleges affiliated to RUHS for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Condition 

B.Pharm Program

• The candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/SBC (non creamy layer) of Rajasthan state] in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biology / Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science in 10+2 Examination or an equivalent examination.

D.Pharm Program

• The candidate should have obtained at least pass marks in 10+2 Examination or intermediate examination or the first year of the three year degree course or pre-degree examination or an equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biology / Mathematics / Biotechnology /Computer Science.

• The application fee of Rs.800 for general candidates and Rs.400 for SC/ST candidates should be paid through the bank challan at any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Selection Procedure

• The admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the science subjects in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the on-line application form.
