University of Kashmir, Srinagar Invites Applications for Admission into BE/B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into third semester of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in various disciplines through lateral entry for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates should have passed the Diploma from State Board of Technical Education or from a recognized University/Board in the same branch of Engineering wherein he/she is seeking admission or B.Sc. graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject from a recognized University, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

• After submitting the application form online, the hard copy of the completed application form should be sent to the office of the
  
  Dean Academic Affairs
  University of Kashmir
  Srinagar
  
   by or before 31^st Jul, 2012 along with the required documents.
  
  
• The candidates are required to deposit the Entrance Test Fee of Rs.500 (plus Rs.10 Bank charges) against the Pay-in-Slip generated with the application form in any of the branches of the J&K Bank Ltd. across the Country. 

Selection Procedure

• The admission will be made on the basis of Entrance Test comprising of Objective Type Questions, to be conducted by the University.
