Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla Invites Applications for Admission into M.A/M.Sc in Statistics Programs

Applications are invited from eligibl candidates for admission into Master of Arts (M.A) and Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Statistics for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates should have completed B.A/B.Sc with honours in Mathematics/Statics/Operation Research or B.A/B.Sc. with at least 50% marks in aggregate and having Statistics/Mathematics as one of the subjects or B.Sc (Honours school) in Physics/B.Sc (Engineering) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and having mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects or B.A/B.Sc with at least 45% marks in Mathematics/Statistics/Quantitative Techniques/Operations Research. 

How to Apply

• The application form can be obtained from the Office of the Dean of Studies at the cost of Rs.160 in cash and Rs.200 by post (IPO/DD in favor of Finance Officer HP University, Shimla-5).
  
  
• The completed application form must be submitted to the coordinator of the course.
