Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi Invites Applications for Admission into DM and M.Ch Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into DM (Doctor of Medicine) and M.Ch - Super Speciality degree (Master of Chirurgical) programs in various specializations for sponsored category students for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

For DM

• Medical graduates holding the degree of MD (Medicine) or MD (Paediatrics) or DNB in respective subjects of equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India. For the DM (Endocrinology) MD/DNB in Biochemistry candidates are also eligible.

For M.Ch

• M.S/DNB (Surgery) or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India. For the Surgical Oncology, the candidates having MS/DNB in ENT, Orthopedics and Obst. & Gynaecology are also eligible. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application form www.bhu.ac.in or www.imsbhu.ac.in.
  
  
• Application forms can also be obtained from the office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi on submission of a MICR DD of Rs.100 in favor of Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, payable at Varanasi along with self addressed envelope (25 X 16 cm) by post.
  
  
• The completed application form in all respects along with all the necessary enclosures should reach the office of Director, IMS – BHU. The envelope containing the application should be subscribed Application For DM/M.Ch Course August – 2012. 

Selection Procedure

• The candidates will be selected for registration/ admission on the basis of their aggregate of marks and number of attempts in MBBS, MD/MS, and the marks obtained in the interview conducted by the university. 

Last date for receipt of duly completed application form in the office of the Director, IMS – BHU, Varanasi: 7^th Sep, 2012 (Friday)
