Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil/P.hD in Clinical Psychology Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) program in Clinical Psychology for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D in Clinical psychology

• Candidates must have first class master’s degree in Psychology regular course or M.Phil in Medical and Social Psychology/Clinical Psychology from any recognized university.

For M.Phil in Clinical Psychology

• Candidates must be M.A/M.Sc. in Psychology regular course of a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. 

How to Apply

• The candidates appearing in the entrance examination of C.I.P, Ranchi for the courses have to deposit Rs. 400 (Unreserved Candidates) and Rs. 300 (Reserved Candidates) in favor of Director, CIP, Ranchi in form of demand draft only.
  
  
• The form has to be filled up there itself and submitted, after which a hard copy of the form is to be printed on A4 size bond paper and sent in a sealed envelope super scribing ‘ApplicationForm For Entrance Examination – 2013 for GROUP A’by registered post or by hand in the office of the Director, C.I.P Ranchi latest by 7^th Dec, 2012. 

Selection procedure

• The entrance test will be of MCQ type consisting of 100 questions to be answered in 60 minutes.
• The test will have questions of M.A/M.Sc. standards.

• Last date of filling up applications on internet: 7^th Dec, 2012 (Friday)
• Start date for downloading admit cards: 30^th Jan, 2013 (Wednesday)
• Date of entrance examination: 17^th Feb, 2013 (Sunday)
