- Application form and other criteria of admission may be downloaded from the institute website http://www.nitagartala.in/
- The envelope containing the duly filled in application form along with a demand draft of Rs.500 (Five hundred) for OP & OBC candidates and that of Rs.300 for SC & ST candidates to be drawn in favor of Registrar, NIT Agartala, Payable at SBI, NIT' Agartala branch (Code - 1149l) should be superscribed "Application for Ph.D Program, 2013 in ........ Department and must reach to the office of the Dean, Academic, NIT Agartala, Agartala- 799055 latest by 3rd Dec, 2012.
- All supporting documents as per application forms should also be enclosed with the filled in application forms.
Selection procedure
- On receipt of applications the candidates fulfilling eligibility conditions are called for interview (written or oral).
- Selection is made on the basis of performance of the candidates in the test/interview and availability of seats.
