B.S Abdur Rahman University, Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into M.Tech Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time and part-time Master of Technology (M.Tech) program (by Research) in various departments for 2013.
Eligibility Conditions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/M.Sc. in science of this university or any other university recognized as equivalent there to in the field of study.
- First class or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (55 % mark or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale in the case of SC/ST candidate). For M.A (English) degree holder including SC/ST applicants a minimum of 55%marks or CGPA of 6.0 on 10 point scale is necessary.
How to Apply
- Application forms can be downloaded from university website (http://www.bsauniv.ac.in/) / obtained in person/post.
- A demand draft for Rs.550 drawn in favor of “B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Chennai” payable at Chennai should be enclosed by the candidates who have downloaded the application form or a demand draft/cash of Rs.600 is to be paid for getting the printed applications in person or a demand draft for Rs.650 is to be sent in advance for the applications obtained through post.
Selection procedure
- Selections of candidates will be done based on the written test and an oral test/interview conducted by the university.
