Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered at various disciplines for 2013.
Eligibility Conditions
- A master’s degree of a recognized Indian university, or a degree approved by the association of Indian universities, or any other equivalent qualification in the relevant field to the satisfaction of the academic council of the university, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.
- SC/ST/PH/Jain minority applicant shall be eligible for 5% relaxation.
How to Apply
- A candidate may download the prescribed application form from university’s website http://www.tmu.ac.in/pdf/phd-app-form.pdf and submit the completed application along with the requisite documents and a non refundable fee of Rs.2000 through a demand draft drawn in favor of Teerthanker Mahaveer University payable at Moradabad to:

- The envelope consisting of application form should be clearly super scribed with the words on its top “Application for Registration to PhD Program”.
Selection procedure
- All eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to be conducted by the university for admission to the Ph.D program. However, M.Phil (Regular), NET/UGC-CSIR (JRF)/SLET qualified candidates will be exempt from appearing in the RAT.
- The qualified candidates in RAT and RAT exempted candidates will be required to make a presentation of the research plan before the research committee.
