Karnataka State Women's University Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programs only for lady candidates in various subjects for 2012-13.
Eligibility Conditions
- A candidate who has obtained a master’s degree in the concerned or cognate subject from this university or any other university in the state or from any other university/institution recognized as equivalent there to securing not less than 55% marks in the aggregate at the master’s degree course as a whole shall be eligible to apply for the M.Phil degree program.
- The teachers employed in affiliated colleges before 31st Mar, 1992 and continuing in service on a regular basis who are desirous of applying for the M.Phil program on deputation only or on FIP shall be permitted for registration having a minimum of 50% of marks at the master’s degree course.

by remitting Rs.440 preferably in the Syndicate Bank, Jalanagar Branch Bijapur (Rs.220 for SC/ST & Cat-I) students.
- Applications duly completed in all respects with required fee of Rs.770 for GM and other category (for SC/ST & Cat-I Rs.385) in the form of DD drawn in favor of Finance Officer Karnataka State Women’s University Bijapur or by challan towards the processing fee of entrance test, shall be submitted on or before the last date.
- The application form can also be downloaded from the website: www.kswu.ac.in. However such application should be enclosed with a DD of Rs.440 for GM and other category and Rs.220 for SC/ST & Cat-I (candidates are required to enclose an attested copy of the caste certificate) in addition to the processing fees.
Selection procedure
- The selection of the candidates will be done based on the entrance test conducted by the respective departments of the university.
