Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in for various subjects for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Minimum qualifications prescribed for admission to Ph.D. course in all faculties shall be as per ordinance 1.4.i.e.only M.Phil./LLM or equivalent qualifications (UGC-CSIR) and ordinance 16.12. 

How to Apply

• The completed application form accompanied by the attested copies of relevant certificates/documents, duly stamped admit card, result-cum-interview card, identification sheet and demand draft/postal orders for the requisite amount should be sent to:

  To the concerned department on or before 7^th Dec, 2012 where admission is being sought. 

Selection procedure

• Candidates are selected based on written test, interview and discussions conducted by the HPU, Shimla.
