University of Delhi (DU), Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into MA in Social Work Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into two year Master of Arts (M.A) program in Social Work offered at Department of Social Work for 2013-15. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Admission to the DU Delhi is open to both men and women having completed a bachelor's degree program of 3 years duration from a recognized university.
  
  
• Any person with a bachelor's degree or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 year) in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from recognized university is eligible to apply.
  
  
• B.A. (H) in Social Work students with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Those candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of the bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply subject to the qualification listed above.
  
  
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST shall be eligible as per Delhi University rules to pass with the minimum marks. 

How to Apply

• Admission bulletin along with application forms shall be available from 10^th Jan, 2013 (Thursday) to 11^th Feb, 2013 (Monday) and may be obtained from the DU Delhi against a cash payment of Rs.650(Rs.450 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) at department counter or by post or by downloading the form from website www.du.ac.in along with a demand draft of Rs.700 (Rs.500 in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi.
  
  
• Last date for receipt of completed applications at the department by hand or by post is 18^th Feb, 2013 (Monday).

• Group discussion and personal interview
