Manipal University, Manipal Invites Applications for Admission into B.Tech and M.Tech Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech, B.Tech Lateral) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs offered in various specializations at Manipal Institute of Technology (Manipal University), Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (Sikkim Manipal University) for 2013.
Eligibility Conditions
For B.Tech Program
- Candidates must be pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
For B.Tech Lateral Program
- Candidates with3 years diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a state government or B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply.
For M.Tech Program
- The candidates must have passed the courses as mentioned here with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates can also get the applications from the selected branches of State Bank of India.
- Required to send the filled in application form to “Director, Admission”, by enclosing a DD for Rs.600 drawn on ‘Manipal University’ payable at Manipal or Udupi (Karnataka).
Selection procedure
- The selections of candidates are doneon the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET)-2013.

- Last date for submission for B.Tech application: 11th Mar, 2013 (Monday)
- Last date for submission for B.Tech (Lateral) application: 15th May, 2013 (Wednesday)
- Last date for submission for M.Tech application: 10th May, 2103 (Friday)
