Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram Invites Applications for Admission into Integrated Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Integrated Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in various areas such as for August-2013.

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Physics 

Eligibility Conditions

Biological Sciences

• Bachelors degree in Biological/Chemical/Physical Sciences or Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA 6.0 (in 10 point scale).

Chemical Sciences

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry. Minimum of 55% marks or CGPA 6.0 (in 10 point scale).

Mathematical Sciences

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics/Statistics or related areas including Engineering and Technology. Minimum 55 % marks or CGPA 6.0 (in 10 point scale).

Physical Sciences

• Bachelors degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering or Technology. Minimum of 55% marks or CGPA 6.0 (in 10 point scale) and qualified in JEST-2013. 

How to Apply

• Applicants should complete the online application form by going to the following URL: http://iphd.iisertvm.ac.in/.
  
  
• GE/OBC [SC/ST] candidates are required to make a payment of Rs.200 [Rs.100] as processing fee through the Powerjyoti Account.
  
  
• On submission of the online application form, the applicants will receive an acknowledgment email with a unique number.

Selection Procedure

• Short-listed applicants will be invited for a written test/interview at IISER-TVM.

• Last date of receipt of the application form: 4^th Jan, 2013 (Friday)
• Written test in Biological, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences: 16^th Feb, 2013 (Saturday)
