Ganpat University, Kherva Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time or part-time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs offered in for the following faculties for 2013.

Faculties of Pharmacy
Faculties of Engineering & Technology
Faculties of Management Studies
Faculties of Science (Biotechnology & Microbiology)
Faculties of Humanities & Social Sciences (Economics)
Faculties of Education
Faculties of Computer Application

Eligibility Conditions

A candidate shall be registered for the Ph.D. degree in the Faculty in which he/she has obtained master’s degree with not less than 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) or equivalent grade in the subject from any recognized university.
A candidate holding a second class master’s degree of any recognized university with at least ten years’ teaching experience and working in an educational institution situated within the state of Gujarat may be considered eligible by the Board of Governors on the recommendation of the Director.
Candidates with B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc Engineering or equivalent having a minimum 60% marks (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) and evidence of published research works with a minimum five years of professional experience after obtaining his/her bachelor’s degree , the Director on the recommendation of the DC may consider his/her application for admission to Ph.D. program.

Selection Procedure

Candidates shall be shortlisted on basis of entrance test to be conducted by the Ganpat University and there after selection interviews shall be conducted.
Candidate who has cleared NET/SLET/GATE/GPAT qualifying examination or having M. Phil degree complying with the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from entrance examination and course work.
