Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-H), Hyderabad Invites Applications for Admission into M.S by Research/Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Science (M.S by Research)/Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.S by Research Program

• All who are eligible to apply for M.Tech program, are also eligible to apply.
  
  
• Candidates who have completed (or going to complete by July 2013) M.E/M.Tech are eligible to apply.

For Ph.D Program

• All who are eligible to apply for M.Tech program, are also eligible to apply for Ph.D program.
  
  
• Candidate who have completed (or going to complete by July 2013) M.E/M.Tech are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Candidate who have completed (or going to complete by July 2013) masters degree in Social Sciences or Humanities are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• Candidate has to complete two registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form.
  
  
• After filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an e-mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration form.
  
  
• Demand draft in favor of IIIT Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad for appropriate amount should be drawn. A candidate must write application number (received in the confirmation mail) along with the name, email id on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to the Chairman, PG Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra Pradesh.
  
  
• Filling of Main Registration Form: The main registration form can only be filled by opening the link received through the e-mail, after filling in the preceding pre-registration form. 

Selection Procedure

• Admission to postgraduate programs will be based on the performance in the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE 2013) and an interview to be held at IIIT Hyderabad. 

Important Dates

• Date of opening PGEE portal: 1^st Feb, 2013 (Friday)
• Last date for the submission of applications through the PGEE portal: 22^nd Mar, 2013 (Friday)
• Last date for the receipt of application fee (DD) at IIIT Hyderabad: 24^th Mar, 2013 (Sunday)
• Date of PGEE exam: 21^st Apr, 2013 (Sunday)
