Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following for the 2013 batch offered at School of Science

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological Science
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Science 

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D. (Biological Sciences)

• Minimum 60% marks in the two-year M.Sc. examination of any recognized university in any one of the following subjects: Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, and Biochemistry
                           or
  Two-year M.Sc. at first attempt with minimum 55 percentage/grade B (as mentioned by University in final mark sheet) at masters level & B.Sc. with minimum 60 percentage/ grade A (as mentioned by university in final mark sheet) at bachelor level.

• Candidate needs to fill up online registration form and forward it to NMIMS. Online registration on website www.nmims.edu starts from 3^rd Jan, 2013. Candidate needs to forward their demand draft of Rs.1000 drawn in favor of ‘SVKM’s NMIMS’ payable at Mumbai along with the documents to:

Selection Procedure

• NMIMS Entrance test
• Presentation based on SOP followed by Personal Interview 

Note:During interviews, doctoral candidates are expected to discusstheir research interest/area.Admission will be purely on merit as per candidate’sperformance in test and personal interview.
